Lovely As A Tree

Lovely As a Tree has to be the oldest set in the IBC! I decided to look through my old catalogs to see when it came out and the earliest catalog I found it in was the 2001-2002 IBC. It cost $25.95. Today it is $27.95 so it's only gone up $2 in ten years. Not bad! I've had it for years - I bought it because I can make nice "guy" cards with it. Here it is used to make a nice feminine card:

Spring blossoms with the Lovely As a Tree set.

I also used the Great Friend set along with the Big Shot Beautiful Wings embosslits die. I used only markers to ink the image for the foliage in these colors: pretty in pink, rose red and melon mambo. I actually stamped the foliage twice, once in pretty in pink inked all over the image and once with rose red randomly inked all over the image. Last I stamped in melon mambo with my splatter stamp (retired).

Thanks to the Carla's Scraps blog for the inspiration.
