Aloha!

At the Luau on the beach at sunset
Keith and I took a vacation to Maui - just the two of us. It's a trip we promised ourselves years ago. We were there for seven wonderful days. We saw lots of scenery (my favorite thing to do), learned how to snorkel, did some shopping and spent a lot of time on the beach.

Below are some of my favorite photos from the trip!

Black Rock at our hotel - best spot on Maui to snorkel
South Maui - lava tube
South Maui - great waves

South Maui sunset

Road to Hana - 52 miles of curves and one lane bridges

Road to Hana - Three Bears Falls

Road to Hana - black sand beach

Road to Hana - Banyan tree

Road to Hana - beautiful carved canyons
Road to Hana - shoreline cliffs. See the highway?
Last but not least, I did stop at two quilt shops and picked up enough fat quarters for a Crazy 9 Patch quilt.

The waves on South Maui is my favorite picture. :) Your new camera takes awesome pictures, makes me want to get a new one. (and go to Hawaii!!) I really like the one of you and Keith, it's a great picture of the both of you. I'm excited to see the rest of your pictures.

Can't wait to see your Maui quilt. You picked some great fabrics! What a fun way to commemorate an awesome vacation!!

We're planning on going with you next time. :)
