Oops in that I bought fabric for a new project when I have so many projects already lined up! Sister Scraps has a new line of fabric from Amy Butler that I just had to have. Also, I purchased the white fabric to use with the Amy Butler fabric to make the quilt in the pattern that I also just bought. The white fabric is white on white with a paisley print - love it! The pattern is from Atkinson Designs (mine and Christie's favorite!) called "Pie Crust Pile Up". Can't wait to get started on this one!
Here's a project that I worked on during the big winter storm - key chains. These are just like the ones that Ashlan and I bought in Breckenridge. I ordered the supplies on the internet and used my scrap fabric to make these cute key chains! I sold 2 to the first person I showed them to!
I also made 2 aprons during the winter blast - I've been busy but I have so many projects I want to make! Whew!
Next blog I have some more Valentine cards to show you - stay posted!
Oh my goodness, you've been so busy!!!
ReplyDeleteI am way jealous of that Amy Butler fabric you have! I want some. I love, love, LOVE Amy Butler. I can't wait to see that finished quilt. I just might steal it! I've been looking at all kinds of fabric online that I want to get, but I can't find a store close by. :( Next time I come home, I'm going to Sister Scraps with you!
And don't even get me started on those key chains. They turned out AMAZING! I'm so impressed!! Now I know where to go when I need a new one. :) I think you could make a whole business out of selling those.
Also, I found a free pattern online for a dog leash, that uses the colored ribbon stuff (don't know the name) that you used for the key chains. Where did you order it from? I thought it might be fun to try to make little Kelty a leash!
P.S. I can't believe how many exclamation points I just used, but I just can't contain my excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I am excited about the Amy Butler fabric. I like the quilts at cluckclucksew.com - I want the Amy Butler quilt to be similar. Cluckclucksew uses funky fabric with a white background. I go to her website almost everyday!
