Busy Busy Busy!!!

I've been busy making cards over the last couple of weeks. I do this sometimes - I make a bunch of cards to have on hand for just the right occasion (like a workshop or a birthday)!

Left - Bold Blossom...Right - Birthday Bakery
The Bold Blossom set is available in the Occasions Mini thru April 30. The Birthday Bakery set is available to a hostess of a qualifying workshop!

Happy Stampin'!

Christie's Workshop

Thank you Christie for hosting a workshop! Below are some samples from her workshop:

You're a Gem and Bold Blossoms
It's hard to say which is my favorite! I love the rosettes made out of ribbon. The striped grosgrain ribbon is cut in half before creating the rosette. This gives it a frayed look!

card stock - Basic Black, Very Vanilla

embellishments - Basic Rhinestone Jewels

Bold Blossoms:

SU! and Fabric??

Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric

Deck the Halls Designer Fabric

Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric
SU! introduced fabric in the Holiday Mini Catalog and also in the Occasions Mini Catalog! I had to have it!! Of course, it coordinates with SU!'s line of colors and they even have designer series paper to match. The fabric flowers above are a perfect way to use the designer fabric (thanks Ashlan). The fabric from the Holiday Mini is still available (Candy Cane Christmas and Deck the Halls). The Springtime Vintage is currently available in the Occasions Mini. Each fabric bundle comes with three  28"x18" extra large fat quarters for $9.95.

Always.Sometimes.Never

Always...
love Keith's lattes on the weekend {spoiled}
use my new dishes
pray for my boys
thankful for the girls they chose {thank you Jesus!}
take time for a pretty sunset

Sometimes...
cook something special for Keith
drive the speed limit
sit on the couch and watch TV
stamp for hours {rare}
cry for no reason

Never...
go to bed mad
watch reality TV
have enough time for crafts
have enough will power in a quilt shop
see my kids enough

I was inspired by Ashlan's post - read it here:

More Valentine's!

Love these!
Valentine's is over but I wanted to share these cards with you. The one on the right was my favorite of all the Valentine's I made this year!! I used the SU! exclusive Scallop Envelope bigz die to create the envelope on the front of this card. Then I ran it thru the Big Shot using the Finial Press embossing folder. After that, folded the envelope using glue dots to hold it together. Stamp and cut out your favorite hearts and tuck into the envelope. Stamp sets used: Always and Love You Much. Add ribbon and bling - you are done!

The card on the left was made using the Love You Much stamp set and the Heart to Heart punch. Stamp the trio of hearts from Love You Much and use the punch to punch out all 3 at one time. The pink layer was made using the Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Don't forget to add bling!!

Valentine's Cards Made With the Big Shot

Both Valentine's cards above were made using the Big Shot. The Big Shot has to be my favorite crafting tool of all time!!

The card on the left is made with the Finial Press embossing folder. Once the very vanilla paper was put through the big shot, I used a sponge and cherry cobbler ink to give the embossed texture color. Stamp set is Punch Potpourri.

The card on the right was made using the Lots of Love letterpress plate. This one is made by inking the letterpress with Versamark ink, placing real red card stock on the letter press and running through the Big Shot. It not only gives the image color but it also slightly embosses the design. Stamp set is On a Pedestal.

Left to right - Kendra's, Ashlan's then my card.
